Mulala Cultural Tour

Mulala Village is situated on the slopes of Mount Meru, in a typical rural setting. Fertile shambas (small farms) dot the lush mountainside. Mulala is also famous for its dairy produce, supplying rich creamy milk products to Arusha.

On this short tour, you will meet and mingle with the Agape Womens Group, who will warmly welcome you into their midst, and involve you in seeing how they carry out their daily activities. You will have fun participating in these activities, which will be followed by some refreshments from entirely local produce. The proceeds from this tour support local school buildings, a kindergarten and a small dispensary.

Depart from your accommodation in Arusha. Travel by public transport or we can arrange your own vehicle to Mulala (recommended).

Arrive at Mamma Anna's cheese making place for the start of your activities over the next three hours, followed by refreshments consisting of locally grown coffee, home produced cheese and other local delicacies.

Travel back to Arusha for your onward journey.
